The Wakefield Choral Society, originally The Wakefield Community Chorus, began in February 1988. The chorus and the Middlesex Concert Band present a winter and spring concert annually. The chorus also participates in Wakefield’s Veterans’ Day ceremonies. In the past the chorus has performed at the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
